Tan began his aviation career in 1990 as a licensed aircraft engineer with Malaysia Airlines. Tan has obtained considerable experience in the maintenance of aircraft and engines. He held the post of the Maintenance Planning Manager for Transmile Air and later as Sales Director in AAR Landing Gear Services before joining us a Surveyor in 2008. During his time with our company, Tan has handled major losses in the Asia Pacific region, including in China, Myanmar, Malaysia and Indonesia and also many liability claims for airports, ground handlers as well as major aircraft OEMs. A CAA UK trained aviation auditor, he is fluent in written and spoken English and Malay.
