Hart Aircraft Appraisal, LLC was founded in 1975 by Richard Hart and is a full-service aircraft appraisal company based in the greater Phoenix/Scottsdale area, providing both desktop and on-site appraisals with travel globally as needed. Mr. Hart brings a wide range of experience in all facets of aviation-related services, working with financial institutions, insurance companies, small business operators, and individual owners. No job is too large or too small.
Mr. Hart specializes in piston engine and jet aircraft, helicopters, war birds, homebuilts, experimental aircraft, spare engines and components, IRS donations, expert witness testimony (including through trial in Federal court), damage history, collateral inspection, consultations, diminution of value analysis, orderly liquidation values and other aviation related matters.
Richard holds the designation of ASA Accredited Senior Appraiser-(ASA)-MTS-Aircraft and is USPAP compliant. He also brings a unique perspective, having been an owner/operator for 45 years in the helicopter industry in the Los Angeles area, including extensive managerial and operations experience, qualifying him to consult on all aspects of aircraft and maintenance operations.
