Rick Richardson is a well known, seasoned aviation professional with over 34 years of management and aircraft sales experience.
Before joining Leading Edge, Rick was with Bell Aviation for eighteen years, fifteen of which were as vice president, a company officer position responsible for the operations of the company as well as for overseeing the aircraft sales function. His prior experience also includes two years in charter sales and six years in aircraft sales with Eagle Aviation.
Rick has sold all types of business aircraft from turbo-props to large cabin aircraft such as Gulfstream, Challenger and Global Express. Rick has conducted overseas transactions and is familiar with the complexities of overseas sales and purchases.
Rick served eleven years in the U.S. Army Reserve as a Huey pilot. He also has a commercial pilot’s license and is instrument rated for both airplane and helicopter.
Rick has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina. He is married and has two children and one granddaughter. He enjoys hunting, fishing, boating and riding motorcycles.
