Jill Adams
Jill Adams is a professional aircraft loan broker. She began her career in aviation as a ramp hostess for Mission Beechcraft at SNA. While there, she earned her private pilot license. She moved up the FBO ranks before becoming an Aircraft Charter Specialist. In 1989, she co-founded a company called PLANE FAX. She ran that operation, as President, for 10 years. PLANE FAX was/is a service for aircraft dealers and brokers. In the beginning, via overnight fax, it was an innovative way for dealers and brokers to communicate between themselves regarding aircraft for sale and ones they were seeking for clients. She sold her shares and was hired away from that position by Hartford Financial Services, to run their West Coast sales operation. HFC provided flooring for aircraft dealers and brokers. From there, she was hired by Textron to cover their West Coast sales operation for retail aviation lending. On September 10th, 2001, TFC announced a consolidation of the TFC Aircraft Finance Division with Cessna Finance. Jill was offered a position with CFC which would have required a relocation to the East Coast. The next day, September 11th, was a defining moment. Jill decided that this was the right time to go out on her own. She has been brokering aircraft loans ever since. During all of this, she owned a 1948 Navion for 21+ years. She gets all of her business through referral and enjoys an excellent reputation with her clients and her lenders.
