Jared’s entire career has been spent in the general aviation sector. He comes to OGARAJETS from Epps Aviation, where he was Director of Business Development. Before transitioning to the business side of the industry, Jared was an ATP Single/Multi Engine rated professional pilot for 11 years, accruing over 5,000 hours of flight time. Early in his career, Jared also worked in aerospace economic development and owned his own flight school. He is passionate about flying and has experience in aircraft management, performance initiatives, and flight department operations.
Jared began college at the University of Alabama, playing football for a few years before transferring to Auburn University, where he earned a business degree in Aviation Management. Jared also has an MBA from Georgia Institute of Technology with an emphasis in Global Business and a certification for Conducting Business in China from the University of Beijing.
Jared is married to his Cajun Princess and best friend, Megan. They have two beautiful children, Davis and Norah, two schnauzers and a flock of chickens. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, painting, reading, flying, renovating houses, and live music.
