Charles Maynard
Charles H. Maynard is a 1978 graduate of Auburn University and was commissioned at that time in the United States Navy. After completing flight training, he had a successful 30-year career flying carrier-based aircraft (A-7/FA-18s). He also recently retired from United Airlines as a 787 Captain. He is graduate of the Analytical Risk Management program created by Bowhead Systems Management and is a Certified Risk Management Professional. He has over twenty years experience in Risk Management, across a broad spectrum of industry and government; Secretary of Defense Communications, Department of Education, Transportation Security Administration Air Cargo oversight, Joint Chiefs of Staff Mission Assurance Vulnerability, Defense Information Security Agency, FAA liaison for the original standup of UAS testing sites, U.S. Navy 7th Fleet operations security (OPSEC) assessments and many others. He commanded VFA-204, a Naval Air Reserve Strike Fighter/Adversary Squadron. He holds a Top Secret/SCI security clearance. He and his wife spend their time between their homes in Auburn, Alabama and Navarre, FL.
